Use these water bottle filters with almost any water source. Use them for rainwater, tap, rivers, streams, or lakes. Do not use with salt water. This filter removes up to 99.9% of contaminants/pollutants found in fresh water supplies including: Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E-Coli Bacteria; Organics such as DDT, MTBE, Benzene, Chloroforms (THM'S); and In-Organics (Heavy metals) such as Arsenic, Lead, Mercury, Copper, and Chromium 6. Each filter will last for 200 gallons. That is over 1,500 refills!
